TEACH Families Set New Record in Fall Food Drive! PDF Print E-mail

The TEACH Community once again demonstrated their compassion and caring for the North Georgia community this week by making an outstanding effort in the Fall Food Drive. Students and staff donated over 1100 food items to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

A service event, sponsored by the TEACH Student Leadership Organization (TSLO) in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the food drive is a fall tradition at TEACH to aid those in need over the winter.  Our last year donation was 729 items.  Thank you to all TEACH families who participated and made this a record breaking year.

Our students engaged in a friendly competition  to generate some enthusiasm about the food drive. The Sophomore and Junior classes went head to head with the Freshmen and Senior classes to see who could bring in the most items. The Sophomore and Junior class team won and will be rewarded with a before school breakfast in the cafeteria on Thursday, January 7th , served by the Freshmen and Senior TSLO members.
