Last year, TEACH was honored to receive 3 award certificates from the State Superintendent’s Distinguished Achievement Awards Program.We are very proud to announce that, in September, we were recognized once again with 3 additional awards! We were awarded a  Certificate of Improvement and a Certificate of Achievement in Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) English, and a Certificate of Improvement on the Georgia High School Writing Test (GHSWT). We are very proud of our students’ achievements, as well as the dedication of our faculty, and hope to make the receiving of these awards a TEACH tradition!

It is my honor to recognize your school as part of the Superintendent's Distinguished Achievement Awards program.

These awards are designed to honor schools that have scored at the highest level or made the greatest improvement in performance on our state curriculum exams - the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests, the End of Course Test, the Georgia High School Graduation Tests and state writing assesments.

Schools are being awarded in all core academic areas across several grades. There are two categories of awards:

 - Achievement: The 10 schools with the highest percentage of students in the exceeds score level

- Improvement: The 10 schools with the greatest gains in the percentage of students in the meets and exceeds scoring levels.

The certificates given to award-winning schools such as yours are a small token of our appreciation for the hard work being done by you, your staff and your students. Congratulations on these outstanding results and thank you for helping Georgia lead the nation in improving student achievement.
